What kinda things do you like to do? Who are you traveling with and what age group? Also which islands are you visiting?
Give us some basic info and I'm sure you'll get a lot of suggestions.

Maui i believe and i'm gonna go with my brother who is 23 and im down to try something in the ocean. It would be cool to see some Subaru's in Hawaii
Well, i would have to say atleast 97% of the actual members who post are from Oahu. As far as things on Maui, they have some nice roads (road to Hana), and they have our only krispy kreme doughnut shop. You may want to go dive, and also can take boatrides to i think molokai. It all depends how long your stay will be. My 3 favorite islands are Molokai, Kauai, and Hawaii. Life is slower there. People are very friendly, and generous.

Make sure you go up to Haleakala Crater and and snorkle at Molokini Island Crater...also for some local plate lunch experience, go to Da Kitchen.
But come to Oahu and you will see a ton of subies...

Vacations for me tend to include sampling the local grinds (food). I haven't been to Maui for quite a while, but the places that I had to eat at was Sam Sato for their dry noodles and white bean manju and there was this place that had bentos and okazu (takeout) foods, I think they were named Takamiya's somebody correct me if I'm wrong. Both of those places were in Wailuku, but I believe Sam Sato's relocated to a shopping complex called the Mill Yard. You also have to try Tasaka's guri-guri, a sherbert like dessert. C'mon Maui peeps, chime in, like I said the last time I was in Maui was over 15 years ago when Azeka's still had a large market. Man, I can still remember the "sweet-meat", those kalbi ribs was da grinds.

Theres more than enough to do in a week on the island of Oahu, Pearl Harbor, Polynesian Cultural Center, dinner cruises (Star of Honolulu, etc.), hiking if youre into that, Hanauma Bay, snorkeling, beach activities, etc.. yep theres a lot to do haha
Correct, Azeka's had these thick-cut shortribs that was already marinated in a local-style sauce, all you had to do was cook 'em. We used to stay at the Kamaole Sands in Kihei where they had a grill area. Used to cook the ribs along with the requisite Maui-style hot dogs.
