how much are you willing to spend?

if you are looking at saving some money you might want to look into BC. I just got a quote for a set of coil overs w/front and rear adjustable camber plates and rear adjustment extenders for $1145 shipped to Hawaii. as for performance on the BC, I have read lots of good reviews on them.

There is so much threads on this topic...im sure it has been covered...

like jesse said. it comes down to money ur willing to spend. personal pref is also a factor but your just relying on input from guys who already have coils.

good luck in your search..

Yeah I think the better question is what do you want it for?

Have you been informed of the cons of a full-coilover setup?

Contact my buddies at turn in concepts...pm me for the link if you can't google it.

First identify the intended use, then identify the available budget. Nuff said.

If all your doing is DD look into a nice strut setup. I'm running on STi struts w/ RCE springs and its killer. Unless you want coils so you have ride adjustability there really isn't a point unless you are going to at least auto-x, and even then its questionable.

Koni inserts are also a big win

Agreed.

As mentioned in past threads...the only good thing about a full coilover setup are that you get height adjustability and depending on what you get adjustment of bound/rebound/etc. I fully believe that anyone that doesn't intend to track their car seriously doesn't belong on coilovers. The real benefit of the height adjustment is being able to corner-weight your car. If you're going to buy coilies after reading this I say "thanks for stimulating the economy" for about 50% more than you needed to.

Your best bet for a DD is a good strut upgrade with a set of springs. If you really want adjustability but don't need a full coilover set get the Ground Control coil-over sleeve type setup.

If your just going for appearance and not performance, I'd really look into a good set of drop springs. That being said, I'm not sure how much springs have been released for the 08+ STI, as I havent seen much. But if all you really want is a lower stance, I dont see the point of dropping 1000+ on coils.

However, if you're actually planning on using your suspension, then disregard everything I said, haha. I can honestly say I've been satisfied with my springs for the almost two years I've had them. As Blake said, good struts and springs are all you need on the street.

word, just go for some springs, and maybe struts. don't need coilovers in a daily driver, lose money

Beware however, using aftermarket springs on stuck struts even if they are made for them will degrade the struts extremely fast. My rears went out in 8k miles with our horrible road conditions.
