Maybe its just me but its kind of irritating me
Might just be do to the fact that I've lost most of my respect for the mag the last couple years.......the articles suck. The good thing was my renewal was dirt cheap, the bad thing is its for a couple more years
Did you read the articles about that girl's civic.....

in regards to magazines... i'm kinda irritated about the reviews of the evo vs. sti ... is it just me or are there no reviews(comparos) that put the sti in first place? does anyone think they are "biased" (as if mitsubishi "buys" out the magazines...) is that possible? i just find it a bit disturbing considering that i sell subarus but haven't found any evo/sti comparison tests in favor of subaru
BTW is that SS issue the one with the RWD WRX??

well aren't most of theses comparisons done on the track? isn't that where the evo's tight steering will out shine the sti's steering which is better for daily driving?
anywho, is it that bad that the evo keeps winning? then all the rice boyz will get that instead of the suby.

Both are excellent cars, and the performance advantage is negligible. Price was a point in which Car and Driver chose the EVO over the STi, but here in Hawaii, we know how much we paid for our STis and how much they paid for their EVOs
. Anyways, all I know is when I look at my STi...I just smile (but my wife thinks it's a goofy grin). RESPECT to all "capable" cars!!

"Road Test Coordinator Kelly Stennick says:
I've always liked the Subaru Impreza lineup, believing the small all-wheel-drive sedan to be a good value. Whether it's the base Impreza or the more powerful WRX, each new version just gets better (and faster). Just when I was convinced that the WRX was as good as it gets, Subaru finally brought the internationally acclaimed 300-horsepower STi to American shores.
Driving the STi and Evo back-to-back, I immediately realized why I liked the Subaru better. It was definitely more of a real car to me, with better seats, higher-quality interior materials and more cargo space. Everything I touched from the shifter handle to the climate control buttons seemed to exude better craftsmanship than the Mitsu offered. As an adult living in the real world, with a long commute to work and a baby stroller to load in the trunk, these subtle differences between the Evo and STi make all the difference.
Never mind just going fast. Both cars can handle getting you anywhere you need to go, and in record time. I had just as much fun in the Evo as I did in the STi, but the STi is a car that could make me consider plunking down my own hard-earned cash at my local dealer."
