Sunday Rally X - June 19
The next RallyX at KRP will be held on Sunday for those who can't make our regularly scheduled Saturday events. This also happens to be Father's Day. Bring your Suby's out for some fun. Post up any questions.

We have had many stock height cars participate and even several lowered cars. The surface is much better than our first few events and the tops have been cleaned off a bit better. This also means the rutting has not been as significant as before. Snow tires or all-terrain type tires are holding up well. Many are still running on street tires but do note that the tires and rims will get scuffed. Best alternative is to get a stock set of rims for cheap and mount some cheap snow tires and you would be good to go. And you car will get dirty (leave the windows up).
So far, everyone who has run ends up with an ear to ear smile! Let me know if you have any other questions. At a minimum, you should attend and catch a ride with one of the Suby's.

You are normally given 6 runs over 2 heats, 1 in the morning and 1 after lunch. Everyone works a heat/drives a heat. Course has averaged about 1 minute long. We have Stock, Prepared and Modified classes for FWD, RWD, and AWD but at this point, doesn't make much difference. We are all out to have fun. At the end of the day, we have always had time for fun runs, meaning if you participated during the day, have at it. I've seen guys make 10+ passes in their fun run sessions. You need covered shoes, Snell rated helmet, and car in proper working order (no loose batteries, excessive fluid leaks, working seatbelts, etc.)

It can damage the car, with all the rocks and debris that is kicked up. Mostly just scuffs in the paint though. I just have KYB AGX shocks with WRX wagon springs on my GC, and it's high enough to clear everything there. The rutting has gotten 100x better, and even a stock suspension WRX/STi could run there without worry of big damage.
Dave is right about the rims though, they get massively paint chipped, so I would get some rims you don't care about.
Most of all though, it is hilariously fun! I always come away with a big smile and lots of laughs from all the sliding and drifting in the dirt.

Bump. If you plan to drive, consider pre-registration.
