It's a busy week for me, but I have been putting down the ideas. I know it's a long ways off, but more time allows more planning and hopefully a more sucessful cruise. Sometime in June I'll post the final plan in a new post, but for now here is what I'm looking at:

8:30 - 9:00 Meet at Keahi Lagoon Park
9:00 - 9:30 Loudest Subaru Contest (Anyone have a sound meter?)
9:30 - 9:45 Cruise to Ala Moana Mall (near Midas Touch. Still need to see if Joey is interested in supporting)
9:45 - 10:00 Dirtiest Subaru Contest
10:00 - 10:15 Cleaniest Subaru Contest
10:30 - 10:45 Cruise to SpeedGear
10:45 - 11:00 Find enough parking at SpeedGear
11:00 - 11:30 Fastest Subaru Contest (based on time slip, may also break down by subie, i.e. RS, WRX, STi, XT, Legacy)
11:30 - 12:30 Lunch
12:30 - 13:00 Subaru with most mods contest (Pat would probably take this one if he was around)

The rest is kinda tentative at this point:
13:00 - ????? Cruise to Sandy Beach and up the windward side...
Stop at Kuoloa Ranch ? (Let me know gdogg)

Other potential contest:
Most Slammed Subaru
Others??

As far as sponsorship goes, I have SpeedGear supporting and I need to talk to Joey and see if he's interested. Any others?
I'm also still looking to do some type of donation thing, but it would have to be someplace that has a Sunday dropoff and someplace on the way.

The 2 potential dates are the 11th and the 18th of July, but I'm swaying more toward the 18th.

Any comments?

How about palest Subaru owner? I think I have that one down!

I'd definitely win the drunken lush award.

Sounds like a right sweet Subaru jamboree Tim!

Hey, Joey does not work at the mall location on the weekends, he works out at the waterpark location.

If it's any later than the 18th, ... I will be gone ....

Wow! I've been so busy and no chance to surf around the net or even the forum. I am definately down for this whenever it is. Finally everyone is retiring or PCSing so activities are quieting down. If anyone needs help with anything, give me a hollar. Tim (mehlt), I assume you took the reins on this beast. If you need anything, let me know. I'm willing to help out in anyway.

Also, I have another idea for a future weekend. I have been in contact with someone about dealing with the Sunst on the Beach program. What I was thinking is when (yes, when. I know they will have this) the Lord of the Rings movie this summer in Kapolei during the Sunset on the Plains event. I was thinking of an idea of setting up a booth with our cars there for ppl to drool over. What you all think of that?? The event in Kapolei is normally all-day long. I can find out through the organizer about getting an area to setup. What are your thoughts?? Promote good drivers with sweet cars, just like CEASR. Opinions/comments are appreciated.
