Like this aloha spirit. Thanks for the offer to help. I'll keep you in mind. I've got a 99 legacy 113000 which I'm going to take to spinplay tomorrow for a timing belt change..water pump..tensioner etc. If all goes good, I'll be telling everyone I know with a subaru about his work.

She runs good right now, just preventative maintenance....
Awesome to be able to support local good work without going to the stealership...

Yup. Personally I consider Spinplay the go to guy for bigger work like timing, clutch, head gaskets and such.

Another satisfied customer! Encountered a seemingly impossible situation, and he worked around it and still managed to get it done right. Mahalo for the good work.

curious to know what AD members typically do with their vehicles when it's time to relocate to a new duty station?

Yup, most of us take them with us when we leave. And some just sell them to start a new project elsewhere.
As for me, it'll be going with me!

It's fairly easy to do it yourself and you don't need to lift the car up if it's stock hight. The oil filter is in the middle of the oil pan and headers.
I'm sure someone here would help out on this 15 minute job.

Hey guys a bit off topic, but really need some help. Will some of these shops mentions do safety inspections? I failed today for my TIEN springs. Wondering if I would have the same issue at any of these places?

Just get recon.
But yah you most likely fail at any other shop due to the new safety. What you fail on one shop the other shops would know what you fails on and make sure it's fixed.

Ya most likely gonna have to go that route. But I have 30 days to register my car and recon is booked.
They didn't go through with my inspection. They just did quick look and told me what was wrong.

Not anymore. But, I just learned that everyone goes to the oreilly parking lot to do work if they cant at their residence. So, just tackled that 15 min job in the lot. Now to figure out if my right axle is a problem or if the hum that I hear is from wheel bearings on the right side.

Thanks for the response.

You can apply for a membership even if you aren't military?

Thanks!
