with my RE92's I always ran around with High tire pressure, at, or almost 50! That's the only way I could drive like I do without the tire sidewall always rolling over!
But with my w-10's, I think I ran about 40-45, which is still high, but ....

... and I never really checked my tire pressure at the track, never really cared, but it never seemed to matter much. Most of the time I just checked them for autoX.

I'm gonna try lower pressures and see if I can get 1.8 60 ft. times...I was under the impression that I had to run high pressures to get wheelspin...
russ,
My guess is that the RE-92's are slick enough to give you good wheel spin at normal pressure. I bet you're getting too much wheel spin with them up in the 40's. I can spin my Azenis on my car at 40psi. The Azenis are (were) sticky, too. Like I said, just a guess.

On another note, I'm guessing that boost really does matter for 60' times. The best I've ever gotten (low 1.8's) were when I had the AVC-R spiking to 1.47bar.

Thumbs up

Thanks guys! Yeah Greg, I think you're right about the RE92s. I'll try 'em out at lower pressures.
