Strange #'s and Race gas.........

Well went to the track tonight and have a new personal best stock STi time.

Old best - 13.510@96.98MPH w/ a 1.786 60ft.

New best - 13.504@101.12MPH w/ a 1.797 60ft.

The only thing I can think of is the mix of race gas I put in today.

I had a strange 1st run of.......

14.105@95MPH w/ a 1.845 60ft. <---- think that's because we took the MBC off and the ECU was getting used to not having it.

I can wait to throw some mod's on this STi!!!!!

I only ran a couple 13.7's, ... and couldn't get a 1.7 60', only 1.8's
I expected to be in the mid 13's, ... maybe next time I'll run the stock rims & tires, ... or uncork the exhaust.

I now know Dan will CHOKE anytime he grudges me!

... oh, and that young woman I was talking to is FINE! HOT! HOT! HOT!!!

yeah, I did get 1.7 60's, ... and that was with the Sh!tty *** launch pad that was there. So I Know I can get 1.7 60's now!

I does reek havock on your clutch, ... but it's possible. Plus, I was using stock rims and tires, or the W-10's.

Thumbs up

Damn Sean, 1.7 60's in your old WRX? WOW! What tire pressures were you running? And that was with the MBC, correct? Thanks.

I've gotten a 1.81 with my 18's, so 1.7 is definitely possible.

Yeah it was fun watching you walk away from some of those big, noisy V8s .

Those big noisy V8's give me a headache everytime!

yeah Russ, that was with the mbc, ..... but I was thinking since the launch pad has proven to be so much better now, .... then 1.7's are possible without a boost controller.
I was just a bit frustrated that I couldn't get them the other night, ... I think if I switch to stock rims and tires I might be able to pull it off, ... but I dunno.

Sean, what tire pressures would you run with the RE92's? I was running 40/38 and stuck at 14.0-14.1. I dropped the pressures to 37/35 for my last 3 runs that same night and did 3 13.9's! I'm gonna try lower pressures and see if I can get 1.8 60 ft. times...I was under the impression that I had to run high pressures to get wheelspin...
