STi Wiring Diagram
VSS should be a green/blue wire going into the 10 pin connector behind the cluster. It is the 2nd from the left when viewed from the wire side of the connector.
Sorry I can't find the tach.
You might want to get a second opinion though since the repair manual is not that intuitive.
