Terrible photo, but you can clearly see the difference between the much beefier STi transmission mount (left) vs. the stock Forester mount (right).

This one is a no brainer.

yes mine looks like the one on the left. It came with my JDM tranny. It doesn't have a plastic finish to it like that one. I'm sure that moun that you purchased is still higher grade though

wish I had money right now to buy me some mounts

btw, those 3 pieces in the center of the stock mount are soft rubber. Soft as in I can pinch them with my fingers kind of soft. The STi center is solid metal. Man, the shifting feels so much more solid and smooth now.

Upgraded my pitch stop, motor and tranny mounts. Love the difference. Drive train feels much more "planted"

You won't regret it.
