Hey you priveleged few! How are your Bridgestone RE070's holding up? Just curious, because of the "stickiness" of those tires, what kind of mileage are you folks getting? I live out on the North Shore with a daily commute of 76 plus mile per day, ya think a longer wearing tire would be better, albeit giving up a fair amount of grip. I've heard the tread wear is 180, is that right? When I get one, those tires will be probably for sale. Appreciate the feedback.
I think the treadwear is 140 if I remember correctly. They're holding up better than I thought they would (almost 4k) although I haven't done much hard driving. I liked the T1-S for a long time as a good compromise. They give up some dry grip and turn in response but were awesome in the rain (I drive on the Pali and H3 almost everyday) and they last (280 rating). I think I put 30k on them with my integra and they were still pretty good.
I expect to be replacing mine early next year. That with daily drive and monthly AutoX. I like the feel of the tires, but I don't like the noise. I thought the Falkens Azenis were loud, but I think these have em beat out. I'll probably replace them with S03s when the time comes though I thought about Azenis.
As mentioned threadwear is 140.
BTW, I thought they were directional tires, but I didn't see any arrows?
