Hey does anyone know what the STI oil filter part number is for whatever brand filter you use?? I went to Walmart but there isn't any application number for the STI.
I also went to 5 Star Subaru for the oil filter and bought it. Went to my friends house to use his ramps, took off the bottom shield. and noticed that the filter was way bigger than the one 5 Star sold me. So after all that, I had to just put back everything and I have to go tomorrow to exchange the damm wrong filter they sold me.
So part numbers for which brand would be greatly appreciated.

The one that comes on the STi from the factory is bigger than the one you will get to replace it.

Don't know why just is. It freaked me out because it was bigger and green and the replacement was small and black.

 

As long as it ends in 080 you have the correct filter...
