I changed the key ring to red and it looks AWESOME, I also changed the HVAC lights as well as my gauges... but how do I change the stereo lights? Do I have to change the leds or can I put the condoms on them like with the other bulbs?

Stock stereo? If so I don't think you can. I just swapped out my Alpine for a Clarion which allows you to set the colors.

Okay, swapped out my HU so now everything matches well. Other then the STi floor mats I'm waiting on (group buy), I'm done ricing out the inside. Now it's time to start planning the real mods.

You actually change out the covers on the bulbs, not the bulbs themself. There is one for the keyhole and 3 for the HVAC controls. The bulb covers I have come 10 to a pack and the cost was $2 with shipping. I think I still have at least one pack left. PM me if interested.

 

Tell me if I'm stupid or what....but was the floor mats already ordered by the group? I'm interested in getting some floor mats but looking at the aluminum style. Let me know whats up with that.

Is it possible to change the factory boost gauge? I would like that to be red as well... instead of the white... I just can't figure out hot to get the gauge out of the damn little rubber housing it's in...

Sorry, didn't catch the first time you asked. I gave them to Brad who I believe left them with Andrew. If you didn't show that day I'll assume Andrew still has. Let me know if you don't find them.

 

Since there is no factory boost gauge I'm assuming your are talking about the dealer/port option gauge that mounts on the steering column? When I had a wagon I installed one of those. The only thing holding it into the rubber housing is a tight fit. I would try not to stretch the front part of the rubber housing if you do try to get it out as it doesn't always go back into shape.

Beyond that I'm not sure if you can just swap out the light or add a cover. I know a lot of people swap it out for an Omori gauge of the same type/size. Omori used to have a WRX look alike gauge for that so perhaps they have one with red backlight.

 

The 3rd STi floor mat group buy is closed, though it's taking a long time to get the mats. I notice Nino said he would not be doing anymore of these, but he did say he would have them available.
I'm not familiar with the mats you are talking about. Any links to pictures?
