I've never really spoken to too many Evo owners...
But since I've been looking around, I've now met two, and both seemed like nice older guys...pretty cool actually...
Of course, both were selling cars, but then again, they just hung out and wanted to talk...they were curious about our Subaru's as well...
The Suby guys are tight though...nice group.
All you guys seem to be pushing N/A cars...I need forced induction...

To be quite honest, I would not see the LGT as a luxury performance car in the same class as the 335i/IS350/etc. However, it is more near the Acura TSX as compared to the TL-S is to the 335i/IS350/G37.
I love the LGT and Subaru has a great niche there, being that you're just comparing only a few cars in the lineup such as Mazdaspeed 6, Camry TRD, TSX, and 3.5 Altima, the LGT is a clear winner between style, comfort, and performance.

That's why I suggested the 335i. It's for those who can't leave the forced induction world. There is NO turbo lag with that twin turbo inline 6. Handling is ridiculously good too. .
Or you can be pimp and get an used Cayman.
Edited addenum:
If you watch this week's episode of Top Gear, they showcased the Z4 and the 370Z and the Z4 has the same exact motor as the 335i just 400lbs lighter.

Hi Mike,
I was looking into that car also but two things really bothered me.
1. Gas mileage for the 2.7tt is not very good at all...like scary bad. It's bad enough when in the S4 sedan...but in the wagon...$$$
2. Every mechanic that I talked to said the Audi's in general have quite a few oil leak issues and other maintenance problems...and when they fail or break...again...$$$
My main issue was the noise and overall driveability of my old sti...my wife did not like it at all...too noisy, rough riding, and for her, just not something she would drive...I can fix all those issues by just buying a used but newer, low mileage, and unmodded 4 door forced induced vehicle...I'm on the hunt as I write this...Legacy GT, STI, WRX, Evo, A4, Mazdaspeed3, are all on my list...
good luck in your search as well...

Know what you're saying Brent, don't suppose you guys get the diesel option??
Over here we have the A4 Avant supercharged 3 litre diesel, 42 mpg combined, rather than 27??? oh yeah and about 350 lb/ft of torque,
I've also thought about mercedes and BMW, but just don't like them, don't know why???
The diesel is something I'm still toying with, slammed suspension and rolling on 19's!!
Let me know what you decide
Mike
