The 335i is a great car. My neighbor has one. My car right now can probably hang with it since he's stock but no way once he mods it.

Of course, a C63 is great for spanking Hondas at 1/4 throttle!

Hey Francis...yeah a 6mt g37 sounds good, thanks...but I will probably be picking up a new/used car...the kids and recent house project are sucking us dry...thanks though...

Whatever I get, it will probably be a performance oriented 4 door...hopefully force induced...little or no mods, and low mileage.

I'm going to try to leave whatever I get as near stock as possible...

Thanks,

Damn Brent, what can I say, that was one seriously nice ride!!

I'm in the same boat, may have to sell the scooby to fund an estate car (station wagon). Unsure what to get but the Audi S4 Quattro Avant is pretty much at the top of my list.

I'll be coming back over in December, hopefully I'll still see you when I come to the meets

regards

Mike

I was looking at the S4 Avant all-road...

Hi Mike,

I was looking into that car also but two things really bothered me.

1. Gas mileage for the 2.7tt is not very good at all...like scary bad. It's bad enough when in the S4 sedan...but in the wagon...$$$

2. Every mechanic that I talked to said the Audi's in general have quite a few oil leak issues and other maintenance problems...and when they fail or break...again...$$$

My main issue was the noise and overall driveability of my old sti...my wife did not like it at all...too noisy, rough riding, and for her, just not something she would drive...I can fix all those issues by just buying a used but newer, low mileage, and unmodded 4 door forced induced vehicle...I'm on the hunt as I write this...Legacy GT, STI, WRX, Evo, A4, Mazdaspeed3, are all on my list...

good luck in your search as well...

Anything Suby since Im bias and living the suby life! EVO would be great too but I heard the EVO community here in Hawaii is SO-SO, but I could be wrong though.

Get a G37 sedan, debadge it,put a little phone antenna on the back, and act like an off duty cop by tailing speeders!!!
Ha ha! J/K a nice pre-owned G35 sedan MY 07-08 have 300 hp & way more room than an IS250,which is probably gonna cost about the same!!
If your looking @ an IS350 you're probably gonna pay just as much as a brand new G37 sedan.
I'm not trying to sell you a G,it's just that bang for the buck,I really don't think anything comes close.
Aftermarket support for the G's is also great, how's 600hp to the wheeels sound?
400hp on stock internals,@ 7lbs boost.Supercharge? Turbo? You choose!!

G37S - Great performance, rougher suspension, decent backseat
335i - Best performance, better ride, decent backseat, best aftermarket
IS350 - Good performance, best ride imo, smaller backseat
C350 - Spend extra cash and get a C63 or used E63. C63 eat babies for breakfast while carrying it comfortably to the daycare. The C350's motor is really really only good modded(huge gain potential).

And going Euro isn't THAT bad. Suspension, ecu tuning, etc. almost exactly the same. I'll put it this way though, I remember plopping $700 for the STI V2 lip for the MY02, a CF one from a brand name tuner for my car costs less than that. Suspension costs exactly the same so far and the only difference I've seen is the fact that exhausts are $$$ because of the 2 mufflers, however I expect the same to be for any car with 2 mufflers.

Once a year oil change ftw!
