Sti exhaust vs. 3" turbo back no cat

Car Info: STi (cornering, accelerating and braking hard).
A catted dp will be quieter than catless and a non-canister muffler will be quieter than a straight through can.
I've heard the RSR Ex Mag and it is fairly quiet, but still has the rumble. My buddy has it on his car, but he also still has the OEM dp so that quiets things even more.

idk how many times you can beat a dead horse but basically what risk3233 said is right on...it's like gas milage, you either get performance or economy...not both.

wow load of replies thx alot more info i can take in now... and well i guess im looking to trade then for an sti cat back.... you guys think it'll bolt up to my dp? idk the brand but its aftermarket

it will bolt up if the dp uses a 2.5' donut gasket. otherwise you can get an adaptor to make it work or have a new flange welded onto the catback.
