Question SSR comps

I wanted to get some new rims and just wanted to get some info. I was looking at getting some 17 x 7.5 50mm offset SSR comps. Has anyone had any experience with those rims, cause I have never seen a WRX with Comps, also I think a 48mm offset is normal, but a 50mm one should work also right? Also this would be going on a 2002 wagon. It says they are forged but they seem on the cheap side for a forged light rim, will they hold up on trackday? Thanks in advance.

SSR Competitions are a good cheap light forged wheel. I would get it if I have the money for it.

stock offset is +53
as long as you get +48 - +55 or so, you "shouldn't" have to worry too much about rubbing.
7.5 in width should be fine, be careful with tire choice, you'll get more rubbing with some than others. Don't go wider than 225 unless you want to deal with rolling the fenders, or rubbing, etc.

I got 18 x 7.5, kinda feel the bumps on the road but I like the look. I've heard the 17" or 16" are great for the track.
