where do the 2 t-bars and the black sensor hook up to ?

do i even need them?

 

I've got one but don't have any idea what you mean by t bars and black sensor.

Yeah, it just clamps on with the big C clamp and then you route a boost signal hose to the nipple. Done.

The clamp on bit is for a FM only, I believe, because I think you should be able to bolt it on if you have a top mount.

i got a 05 sti with a hks ssqv w/flange. anybody have hood clearence problems. i do.

Everyone has clearance problems...be ready for a nice little perma-smudge on your BOV.

 

sorry but i dont get it. you have a 05 sti and you mean the bov you got is for an 02? first i thought you put in an 02 engine in your sti...lol. stupid me. anyways, i dont know much about the 05's but im pretty sure its the same. and yes, everyone has clearance problems with the hks. dont slam your hood.

 

...or buy a front mount.

 

The information i posted was taken from the spec sheet included in the kit. I was just wondering if i was sold the wrong kit to begin with or is the kit compatible with all years 02-05

^^^its from ultimate..... so cant imagine it being that much different from other wrx,sti applications.

 

what he means is that it is real close to the hood so it gets a perminent smudge on it. if you have an upgraded topmount make real sure you don't slam your hood. everyone gets the smudge, you can't help it.
