spark plugs
where are you guys getting your sparks plugs from? I cant seem to find the ngk plugs that the owners manual recommend anywhere on this island. let me know wassup guys.

The reason I ask is because the stock plugs (NGK PFR6G) are platinum and are on a 30,000 mile replacement schedule...

most of us go with one step colder plug (b/c we ain't stock

and it is BKR7E and you can get them at Parts Plus here on island for about $12 a set.
These are copper plugs btw. I can't remember the stock number, but I got it at home and will post it, .... or you can do a search.
WHATEVER plugs you get, make sure the gap it comes in isn't too big to begin with, b/c you'll want to gap the plugs to somewhere around .028, and closing the gap more than .08 is TOO much. The BKR7E comes gapped to about .033/4, .... but another highly used, but Incorrect NGK plug used (according to NGK TECHs), comes gapped to .044 (BKR7E-11, or something like that).
