This brings up something I was wondering earlier in the day. So I know the G35 Sport Coupe and Mustang Cobra and such are on the approved list where the department will help pay or whatever if the officers buy those cars. Is the STi? Seems like it should be, but wasnt sure if it is. Anyone know?
I want one! Damn...

Vehicles that are subsidized have to meet certain specifications wheelbase, engine requirements, ect. From what I understand, vehicles must have at least six cylinders.
The reason being four cylinders weren't reliable nor did they produce enough power when the requirement came out, way back in the day. It doesn't make sense now because the new saturns are approved(6 cylinders) and turbo charged 4's that put out more power are not.
The G35 Sedan is approved up to 2003, not the coupe. And the new supercharged cobra is not approved due to intercooler location/siren mounting conflict. 350z is pending application and hopefully will be my motor car.
