i dont think that really shows an inability to drive as much as it illustrates the importance of a full roll cage when dabbling in the realm of insanity

Yeah I agree. When you are pushing the limits of any car like that even the best driver cannot always control what happens. Indy racers wreck all the time but that doesn't mean they're bad drivers. It means they're pushing the limits.
