The only place that can legally sell Skylines is MotoRex and they do not have to do anything HP related the US does not have HP restrictions on cars Japan used to but they no longer do that Japanese cars used to maxed out at 280hp. And if that is the car from the show the licenses plate is from Washington state not Washington DC I believe. I think the only real thing MotoRex does is of course glass bumper beams and emission crap they might do more.

US spec? i don't know of any US spec skylines that they need to match it up with.
however the tuning would probably be lowered, since the gas rating is much higher than the regular stuff in japan.
i think it has to do more with safety, as josh noted out the stuff that gets changed

I read on MotoRex's site that they do no de-tuning and if the car has aftermarket parts they keep them on...**** guys all these questions you are asking can be answered if you just read their site.

seen it parked at the Hickam back gate guard lot on several occasions. R34 according to the badge. Very clean. He noticed my car, I noticed his.

Wow. That skyline belongs to one of my friends in the Security Forces. Believe it or not he's black! I see that car everyday and it's a GT34. He got it shipped from Japan a month ago and it's one the only Skylines I see daily. I drive a 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX STi and his car still whoops me.

i'm assuming no one seen the silver R32 driving around Kapolei side or the siver R34 i believe Atomic motorsports bought it and sold it (both real deal)...i seen both daily driven.. one time i seen the R34 driving around kalihi! i tried to yell at him to stop cuz i was trippin, but unfortunatly me and my 3 drunk friends scared him off

Skylines can no longer be imported by MotoRex. They were about the only ones getting them here legally, but it was through a legal loop hole. That loop hole has been closed, so no more skylines. Some people import them for parts, or sneak them hear and then put a 240 SX vin on them. It is highly illegal, and all over california Skylines are being impounded. Call Motor Rex they will tell you that they can't get you **** anymore.
