Brash, Ladies & Gentlemen of i-Club…
I was kinda bored... anyways I wrote this...
The Pilgrims had a dream,
America had a dream,
Imelda Marcos made up her dreams as she went along… he he he
The Philippines had dreams of free government, (so they stopped her spending spree )
Martin Luther preached of his dreams!
Bill Clinton had dreams that I cannot post about.
The i-Club is a wonderful dream that got huge! To huge for the garage, so it expanded and became fruitful. These types of dreams are historical.
Big decisions however, need many dreams and prayers for great fruits to be born.
I club has many great leaders already. Sometimes though… it is more fruitful to dream and discuss FUN STUFF, DURING FUN EVENTS, UNTIL GREAT DECISIONS are made.
Have fun, have dreams, and give a little R E S P E C T to the dream makers. It’s their dreams. Let’s just have some fun and Aloha until we’re backed into a corner and then… we can see dreams come true.
My dreams have changed but my Aloha toward all of you is still the same. Maybe I will see some of you at the next meet. auuuurigh
Aloha,
Nino

i personally voted no on both...my reasons are I came on i-club to get away from the whole car club scene where they charge you dues, tell you to make X amount of meetings a year or your out.....I have been in i-club going on 3 years now knowing if i choose not to support i-club and then come back i am always welcome. as luktang mentioned everyday life for some is to political i really do not want to come i-club and see B.S. I like HIIC the way it is hope to see it continue that way. As far as elected officials it would be as said above a popularity contest and that person probably would not be chosen based on being well rounded/universal.
also on a side note this is a public forum if you start paying dues that takes away the public forum thing and now your a private club and by all means if you want a private club start one you have that right, but dont use i-club or HIIC name in it to charge people dues and and tell how to run events. again i like the way things are someone schedules an event we all say on the boards if we can make it or not or if some makes shirts again we all say if we want to buy them or not
just my 2 cents
