Also, this being my first cruise, will the donations just be collected on cruise day?

I think that we should have donation collection points and donation money should be collected at the first pre-roll out meeting. The reason for the collection points are for those that cannot make the morning meeting but want to attend later. this way we can review what was said at the morning meeting and so that those who didn't donate can accordingly.
Are we running a list of names and amounts provided? Is AUW providing us with a receipt of some sort?

Update
I just got back with my meeting with Patti from Aloha United Way and got the receipts for the donations and prizes from AUW...
lol i am sick, but still going to work.... i can stop by at the meet up and donate, but cant cruise 
its prety hard to get sundays and im new at this job...
