Time is running out...and the only way we can get a greenlight on a new WCF is by telling our reps & sens how we feel. Please take 5 minutes outta your day to email your support (or if you don't support, I guess, that's your choice)...I've done everything for you beyond finding out who your rep is. Simply copy & paste the following in a new email, find your reps & sens, and replace the blank spots with the proper testimony. It will all be decided in the next few weeks.

First, find your reps and senator's emails for your district here, don't forget to include the Speaker of the House, etc.:

Then create a new email with the title "I support HB994 & SB1734" and paste the following, then fill in the blanks:

As a resident of <your town> and an avid Motor Sports enthusiast, I fully support the push for a tax incentive for the new world class racing facility with bills HB994 and SB1734. I respectfully ask you to please show your support of Motor Sports on Oahu by voting in favor of these bills.

Im just curious about the economics of this WCF. Now im not against it by any means(exact opposite actually) but even with the tax incentive how will it make a profit or even break even? Im sure they plan on bringing in F1 and such but will the teams actually pony up the dough to ship cars, parts, support and etc. out here? I just dont see how there will be a large enough economic base to support this even WITH the added tourism it might bring. Also where do they plan on building it(i have been out of the loop for a bit)? Barbers point? Last i heard the Navy was considering on turning that into a possible Carrier base in the not so distant future if Japan didnt let us base a nuclear Carrier there. Cambell(sp?) Industrial Park? Is there room out there?
