Unhappy screwed up on my order.

I had a quick question... It may ba a stoopid question but im a ask it anyway. since Im kinda new at this online shopping deal. I ordered a part online. Got done entering all my info on there like the CC numer and everything else they ask for. Printed out my receipt and then realized i had a brain fart and ordered the wrong part. " S#!ttt"! what do I do now? Did I just screw myself?

Help please.

You could try calling the company or emailing them letting them know that you ordered the wrong part. Otherwise, if it ships to your place, maybe you can just return it and get your money back. Then you can order the correct part. You'll probably lose some money on shipping it back or whatnot.

call them ASAP tomorrow, and just let them know you made a mistake.
most places will be glad to correct it and send you what you want.

Reach the company by phone as soon as you can. Make a note of the date and time that you called, and at least the first name of the person who took your call. The company should be able to resolve it before the order ships. If not, they'll let you know while they have you on the line and advise you on what to do when the wrong part arrives. Sometimes you need an authorization number of some sort before shipping a part back to the company.

After you get that matter cleared up, ask them if they can take your correct order since you've got them on the line.

Are you taking into account the time zone difference from where you are relative to where the company is located? I'm on the mainland and I still have to plan my long-distance calls to east coast-based companies.
