You got Rally mudflaps? If not, painters tape should be fine. You can always watch a run or two first then decide. You saw my car at Rally so I don't really worry about the sand.

I've seen new BMW SUV's, Challengers, Camaros take some runs during test and tunes. Go early and you can see the trial runs and determine if you want to drag.

With all this rain man, and then being cooked, id say it probably be some what packed.... just my 2cents.
