Not really. If the customer doesn't show us the papers from the other shop we won't know till we check the car. We might find more defects or miss some. It's all up to the inspector

Couple weeks ago I had a guy with a 4 day old safety...hopefully he didn't pay too much for it..some shops charge $250 and up...plus the registration stopper...and getting another safety...and his plates are flagged so the next shop that passes him will get the pics scrutinized closely..
