Just use a claybar and the rust goes away.. If that does not work sue them because rust is covered for 10 years on all cars

Thanks for your opinion. I wish I could use a clay bar to take it out but it will not gonna work. It's supposed to be cover by the warranty but they said it's not. Because they says that it look like a rock chip.... But some of the rust look like it's coming from the inside(small bubble) but to me it a rust is rust... I have a 2004 wrx Subaru no rust.....and Why my 2009 wrx rust .

With a 2009, as long as there is no wear to the paint in the areas, it should be covered by warranty. Take it by Subaru.

I did have the dealer look at it and just focused in one certain spot look like a rock chip, and I was showing the other areas but just keep on coming back to that spot that look like a rock chip. I will be happy again if I solve my problem.

Hope this gets taken care of by the dealer. I'm sure there is someone here on the forums that can point you in the right direction.
In the bimmer world, we always have BMW of North America that always helps out. Maybe it is time to drop Subaru a line and inform them of the problem. You might not be the only one experiencing this problem.

I know it sucks and most car company's are like this. I looked this up on subaru.com for you. Try and clay it and see if its just fall out which sometimes looks like rust.

Fallout usually tends to look like rust spots, especially on white cars. I've detailed a few cars like this before and the spots did come off. As far as bubbling goes, take your car to a body shop and have it looked at. They can tell you which direction to go from there. When I was working at a body shop, we had a few dealerships that would send vehicles to us for paint defects (i.e.: paint runs, rust spots, cracks, etc.). I hope you can get this problem resolved without having to take the costs on yourself.

Just tell the dealer that you're not concerned about any other spots except the one that looks like the area that's bubbling. As long as it's not connected to the rock chip, there's pretty much no way the dealer can say it's related to the rock chip. If you can get them to pay for the body work and paint on that one spot, you can just pay the shop out of your own pocket for the rest. Just make it clear that you're not claiming any of the rock chips and understand that per Shaggy's post, that is not covered. As long as you can get them to cover 1 area on the roof, your out of pocket will be minimal. Good luck!

I have 3 rust spots on my roof. Got a quote to paint the 2 on the roof and one on the hatch and it came out to over $700 because my paint is metallic and they can't just paint the spot, they have to paint the whole panel. I had my focus for 7 years and had ZERO rust spots even from all the rock chips all over the place.
