Rear diff mount and rear subframe outrigger bushings?

How many of you have any experience in these? Recently, I have noticed some slack in my driveline which makes a small thud when I shift hard. After some reading, I collect that the stock bushings in our cars are pretty soft, allowing for some driveline play during hard shifts. These are supposed to remedy (and/or improve) on that problem.

Rudy, I know you have the rear subrame outrigger bushings, right? How much of a difference did they make?

Anyway, here's the link to the product I'm looking into:

http://turninconcepts.com/product_in...products_id=24

I would imagine that these stiffer bushings should improve slightly on the power delivery due to less driveline play. I'm intending to buy the kit(s). I'll let you folks know how I like (or dislike) it.

^^i was planning to do the same thing. i am looking to get the rear diff bushings as they are supposed to help with the "clunck". I am going to wait till after my trip to japan as i am already spending $1600 this week on parts and i need some $$ to take with me. So if you do your outrigger bushings let me know how it goes and i may just order both

Well, I've installed the transmission mount bushings as well as the rear subframe outrigger bushings so far.

I have already noticed a better feel as far as driveline lash goes. It feels firmer down there (heh heh). NVH is up though as would be expected when changing to less compliant bushings. You can hear what's going on in the drivetrain under you.

On the way are: STi 5MT transmission mount, rear differential bushings.

This should firm things up even MORE! Stay tuned for updates.
