So...... I went on a Kahuku shrimp run today and on my way back into town I was taking the Likelike. I was driving at a fair speed the entire way back into town, 50mph, until I came up to the tunnel where I proceeded to accelerate up the hill behind a van who had to have been going 70 as I hit 60 and he continued to pull away. As we were coming out of the tunnel and driving down the Likelike I continued to follow the van who was still driving faster than I was going. All of a sudden I see in the right shoulder lane, 2 biker cops with a car already pulled over. The next thing I know, one of the officers runs into the road, flagging ME down. So I'm pulling over and thinking to myself......... "WTF..." So I get my paperwork ready as he drives his bike down to where I had slowed to a stop, then walks up to my window. I hand over my paperwork and he says "I clocked you doing 67mph, a little fast don'tcha think?" So I sit there, still a little confused as I watch the van speed off seeing that I had gotten pulled over instead of him. I just nodded, took the ticket, apologized and then continued back into town.

Seriously. Is it because I drive a Subaru????? $162 fine for 67mph in a 45pmh zone. I'll admit that I was doing 60 maybe. But seriously. How the **** did I manage to be the one that got pulled over for speeding and not the van who was obviously going way faster than I was.

You shush your face! I hardly ever speed and the minute that I do, -I'M- the one that gets tagged. I know a BUNCH of people that race around on a daily basis and NOTHING. Grrrrrrrrr.

That does suck....What does getting a speed ticket feel like...I've had my license for 4 years now and I have never had a speeding ticket. KNock on wood!
