Josh,

You crack me up.

My first thought is that I'm laughing at you....just got back from a looooong deployment, girlfriend is leaving within 24 hours, and you are having to pull yourself away from the love of your life...your subie.

second thought was one of self-appraisal. I just got back from a 35 day deployment, have a pregnant wife who I love very much but I haven't bought a valentine's present for; but I can't seem to stop thinking about my car, and how pissed I am that it's raining. I WILL get everything installed, even if I have to lay in a puddle underneath her.

Sometimes I feel like I'm being unfaithful to my wife because of the love affair I have with Subaru. (I hope that last comment doesn't make anyone post that picture of that guy screwing his tailpipe.)

Dude I can totally relate.

My wife is totally cool and I love her to death, but I spend WAY more time on i-club and dicking with my car than paying attention to her. My compromise is to "go for a drive" with her, but that inevitably results with me screaming at the other ****ing idiots on the road. Then she hollers at me for yelling at the people on the road. Currently I should be cleaning the house in preps for Valentine's Day and I'm typing on i-club. I'm also resentful of the fact that I have a new exhaust on my car and I CAN'T GO TO THE TRACK TONITE BECAUSE IT'S FRICKING VALENTINE'S DAY!

Dude,

There's got to be some sorta compromise. Has she been to the track before? There's a place in this world for audacity.

I don't know if you like country music at all, but if you've heard Brad Paisley sing 'I'm Gonna Miss Her' then you realize that it ain't only carbuffs that have this problem.

That song cracks me the **** up.

Not nearly as catchy as i-club... It'll never work
I believe my wife may be one of the charter members if it does work.
