Quick question...

Hey all,

What are your thoughts on the helix uppipe? I saw this deal on subydude.com:

1.) Helix Flex Uppipe w/ Gaskets
2.) Samco Intercooler Hoses

$298 shipped to HI.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

I don't think that its any different from any other uppipe other than it has a flex and w/ that flex it takes stress away from the nuts and bolt. I have the helix and love it. But that definately sounds like a great deal your getting from subydude.

If it's an uppipe with a flex joint in it I'd have to look more into the quality of the product.. From what I've been seeing Helix is a very good company. That being said... A flex joint as stated by Mario would help to reduce stress where it isn't needed. Also it would and could almost eliminate the dreaded uppipe leake (that has all suby owners up to all hours of the night trying to repair).

If that is the deal SHIPPED I say go with it since the samco's are at least $150 everywhere else

Suby Dude (Joe) is a really cool guy to deal!
