Car Info: my wife crazy with buying parts
At home time to elaborate. So while driving home I was dodging puddle on the right side of my car because I don't have fender Liner and no stock intake silencer and didn't want anything to flood. I took it nice and easy thru a deep puddle and bam. The ABS and BRAKE lights came on. I drove around to test brakes and were fine. I got home and heard the "ABS" pump thingy buzzing and had to disconnect the battery. WTF?
got cel?
others might be able to elaborate, but check your sensors at the wheels; correct me if im wrong, but there are abs / hub speed sensors at each wheel for abs, if one pops loose / connector comes off, abs won't work

No CEL. I put her up on stands and took a quick look at each wheel area and spotting no disconnected lines or sensors. I think the jerking stopped and am assuming i managed to suck water into my intake and its clear now. Left battery unplugged all night and pump is still running today. Gonna try a fluid flush but I cant figure out anything else.
Fluid flush won't fix it.
It might be the ABS controller or a stuck relay. The ABS light should be on if there are any problems and the codes can't be read from the odbII port. Only the dealer has the diag. tool for the ABS system.
To drive without the noise and stop it from draining your battery pull the ABS fuse from the fuse box. You won't have ABS however.

Abs sensors are held in place by 12mm bolts, they ain't coming loose. Most likely splashed water onto the HUGE ( it's like 40 pins ) ABS connection under the pump. You should really get some fender liners man, they're only like $150 and it gets kind of wet here in the winter. If you thought this was a lot of rain.... Oh boy. You ain't seen nothin yet!
