quick oil Q...

whats a good synthetic viscosity for our climate? 10w-30? 5w-30? wanted to check before i turn her in for a 6k oil change.

10W-30 Should work fine for out climate, but IIRC the reason why most manufacturers recommend 5W-30 in the first place is slightly better gas mileage

Im sure it doesn't make much of a difference.

i use mobil1 5w30 every 3k. All climates-90 in the summer to 0 in the winter. Works great. Cheap insurance

I've used both, and maybe I'm crazy but the car seems to run better with 5w-30.

when i buy my next case we can split it if u want- a case comes with 12 costing about 5.50 a quart.

our booklet reccomends 5w-30, but i asked braun from schuman and he said 10w-30 would also work since, it doesn't really get cold here.

Nope,

Redline 5W-30. After the Mobil 1 lawsuit, I never trusted them. Still don't.
