Question for all you techies out there...
Does anyone know of a place here on Oahu that sells computer furniture...ie: server racks (1U, 2U), cabinets, LCD arms, etc. I would rather buy this stuff local than have to worry about the high shipping prices due to weight. Thanks.
What do you mean by a server rack? Wallmount, floormount, 2 post, 4 post? If you're looking for something like the first few items:

Graybar usually stocks them....could cost you a lot though. They may have cabinets...but I dont think they usually stock them. I work for a comm company and we do sell a lot of racks and cabinets so I may be of some help with those items, probably not with the LCD arms and stuff...but I could check. Let me know

Im going to browse around at compusa for the LCD arms tomorrow. As far as the rack...id much rather go with a 30" deep cabinet, as opposed to a 4 post rack...but cost is somewhat of a consideration. Ill give graybar a call tomorrow to see what kind of prices id be looking at. Thanks for the help!
Yeah let me know what kind of prices you get and maybe I can try and work out a better deal for you. We bring in some smaller cabinets (~3' tall or so) once and while too.
And we are the APC power partner here so we do sell their products too. They make some sweet cabinets but they are VERY expensive.
If you dont need the cabinets right away you can always bring it in on the boat which can save a ton of money.
