We've always used TnT on Ward. 6 different cars now - they do great work. It sucked when I had a big curved glass hatch (Porsche 924S). Holy crap that was expensive. I swear my next car is going to have flat glass all around!
its 35 plus or minus 6%= so 29% is the very lowest it can be.
this is the huper optik ceramic 30 from Al's
tint jobs also vary with what materials they use.
i dont think a $200+ ticket per window isnt worth the hassel of having dark tint. plus its nice being able to see at nite with a legal tint.

do they have a tint-meter with them all the time? and how can they tell if you have an illegal tint prior to pulling you over? is it when they can't see the person inside? just wondering what triggers them to decide to pull you over for an "illegal" tint...

Lobby your representatives then if you think 20% isn't too dark. My understanding is that it's a safety issue, and I seriously doubt you'd be able to sway the legislature.
$200 a window? I didn't realize it was that steep of a fine now. I know shops can't sell anything darker than 35% or they can be fined also.
