Puka Exhaust
Realized yesterday during an oil change that several rust holes have developed at the inlet of the muffler. It's an RSR Ex Mag II, they claim that it was made out of unpolished SUS 304 stainless. I feel kinda cheated that it didn't last five years, I've had after market exhausts on my previous cars last much longer than the RSR. In fact, our '94 Isuzu Trooper had it's factory exhaust all the way to trade-in in 2006. Tomorrow, Barr's in Kaneohe is going to take a look at it to see if it can be repaired. I'd hate to think that I gotta plunk down another $700 for another cat back, guess I gotta get one that is polished next time. What have your experiences been with aftermarket exhausts longevity, I'm curious to know.

I like choke thailand hooka brah.
No seriously, I like to choke them. lol
I'm going to hell for that comment.
Rad motorsports did a great job on the exhaust on my supra, mandrel bends, and for a couple hundred less than I was quoted at ESH.

Got it fixed at Barrs in Kaneohe today. Mike took good care of my baby, patched the pukas and even made a killer cup of coffee for my wife. Hey Ryan, RSR states that the exhaust is made out of unpolished 304 SUS whatever that is, but Mike said it was made out of mild steel, hence the rusting. Ty, I would still go run-offs with the pukas. car sounded like a lawn mower though. See ya guys tomorrow!

The wife has a Greddy Evo on her Lexus IS 300. Close to 10 years and counting. The 5Zigen that was on there barely lasted a year.

yeah if you have rust, its steel... stainless steel does not rust...
just a heads up, stainless is way more expensive, so if you paid for a stainless exhaust and got cold rolled or hot rolled steel... you got ripped.
