Ed,

Gimme a call sometime.

Julio,

I'll be happy to give you a ride next time I see you. I've gotta (force myself to) break it in, first.

....I got my first taste of boooooost this afternoon after getting the BOV put on. It scared me.

Richard, I'm stoked and intimidated. I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to swap out the pistons correctly nor be able to put it together correctly. If I am able to do it correcly, I'm excited that I'll have 'rebuilt' an engine all on my own.

List of todo:
-Get engine stand
-Get cam gears off
-Get pistons out/inspect cylinder walls for integrity and that there's not too much abrasion nor chunks out
-Inspect valves for no chunks out
-reorder pistons, ARP head studs, STi headgasket
-I'm missing the rubber headcover gasket for the new v7 heads
-I need to have someone look at my new heads because the cam buttplugs look like they've been sealed with tub caulk
-I'd like to send the Fujisubo headers of for coating but I'm on my ***; maybe the downpipe, too
-reinstall pistons (should I take the block to a machine shop or something to have the cylinder walls abraded or 'scored' before I do this?)
-strap on heads/headers/downpipe
-fix electrical connector for the EDFC
-retune the fuel/timing/boost maps

There's no way that I'm NOT leaving something out.
