I've seen those before. What they do is just magnetically rearrange fuel molecules to make them even so they achieve a much cleaner combustion.

What I dont get: How can a magnet have any effect on a completely non-polar molecule? Gasoline is hydrocarbon, a chain of carbons surrounded by hydrogen molecules, and the electronegativity is equally distributed. Are there other ingredients in gasoline that ARE polar? I dunno- I might be wrong, but this looks like pseudoscience.

If that was the real deal......wouldn't a state like California make these mandatory from the factory?

Quoted from the link in the first post:

"Power NEO uses a strong magnetic field from the neodymum magnets to re-arrange the gasoline molecules to be in a more structured which provides a more complete combustion"

In a more structured.... WHAT? It's like they left a spot for a word but didn't know what to say. Oh, and I believe it's spelled "neodymium"...

I call BS edit: (damn- you beat me to it IS2Scooby)

Snake oil "magnetic fuel conditioners" have been around for DECADES. Always been bull****.

"Here is a simple experiment you can do at home to see exactly how this works:
Get a lighter for your BBQ or your Fireplace. Have somebody light it. Hold your hand over the flame at a point that you can feel the heat, but do not need to remove your hand from it being too hot. Get a magnet from your fridge or anything else that has a magnet in it. Have the person holding the lighter place the magnet to the lighter where the flame is coming out of. The person holding their hand above the lighter should notice the flame get more intense to the point that they must remove it or be burned. Something like that is happening inside your engine. The only difference is that with the extra burn you are creating more power. This is exactly how you are getting more power, with less gas."
