I remember a friend of mine doing this before, but I don't remember if he was picking it up early or they missed his house...

Well actually, I have something being shipped via UPS 2nd day air, but the scheduled day for delivery is on Monday, Oct 25 because ups isn't open on sunday. I was wondering, since I have the tracking number, and I can see if the package arrives here in hawaii, is it possible to directly go to the UPS place at the airport and pick it up instead of waiting until monday for delivery?

Just curious about this .. I didn't have a chance to ask my friend why he was able to pick his stuff up before he left for iraq.

 

Oh wait .. ups does have business hours don't they .. lol I think i'm pulling stuff out of my a ss

 

Yea I did that.
I called UPS and verified myself as the owner.
Drove down to the shipping spot, signed my name and got my package.

 

Where is the shipping hub? Lagoon drive?

 

Yeah, IIRC it's somewhere along Lagoon drive. Should be a big building .. Awesome! That means I can go pick it up, no need to anxiously wait for delivery!

Usually UPS delivers to my house pretty late. It makes me mad sometimes when I wait all day for a package, and it doesn't come .. and when I check the status, it says "PACKAGE MISSED" or something.

 

i don't think they're open on weekends but try and call. i think during the weekedays they close at 4pm. you will have to go through the ID check station since you are enterning the airport fly zone. you pretty much can't miss it about 1/4 mile down the road from guard.
