Joey: Love shots 2 & 3
spinplay01: AF or MF? Tripod? Nice car but I'm questioning cause these seem out of focus.
mokeone: hehehe. Thanks

thought so... if you wouldn't mind might I suggest having a flash light with you at night when you taking night shots... put your lens on AF then flash your light at a part of the car you want to focus on. Push the shutter half way down... this will set your cameras lens to the proper focus point. Turn off your flash light. While still holding down the shutter button half way down switch the lens focus switch from AF to MF then let go of the shutter button. Now you can compose your shot (when it's sitting on a tripod or a cluster of rocks
) and as long as you don't move your camera closer or further away from the point you focused at earlier the subject will be in focus.
you could also use your phone if it illuminates enough just so that your camera will be able to focus on something other than hunting and pecking around.

good idea. i will try that next time. And maybe even take a tripod. I was just out for taco bell and happened to remember that I had my camera in the back. So I stopped for a quickie while I enjoyed my ever so delicious steak taquito and cheesy gordita crunch.
