your car has my old seats in them..... and i got them from another guy on here before that... i know about you car from before and it looks sick now! i believe you have a vf 39 turbo and injectors if im not mistaking. welcome to the suby scene and enjoy your ride!

 

How can i tell if its is a vf39? Also I am guess its highly possible i have yout seats. Anyone wanna wire up the monitors that are in my headrest that are connected to nothing with cut wires? I have an external DVD player ready for hookup but no idea what i am in need of to get the monitors working.

 

you will have to look at the turbo or maybe even take stuff off to see if its engraved into it?

I never tried to hook up the monitors in the seat and the wires were cut from before i had them. so im not sure if they even work

 

Cool ill look at the turbo or tonight people can look at teh meat. As far as the monitors....yeah its annoying to have a stagnant monitor in there but there are some on crutchfield for like $80 aand its buy one get one free so ill do that.

 

That is why you do research at a place like Auto Land..... That has to suck a bunch.

Actually, I saw this thing on discovery channel about them. Apparently when Delorean went under they had warehouses of pre-fabbed parts since everything is stamped. Some dudes bought all the parts and sell "New" Deloreans and spare parts. I guess the only way to tell an original from a reproduction is the motor used.

 

you sure the coolant leak was just from the throttle body? not a blown head gasket? not to burst your bubble but autoland is a bunch of crooks to this day...

buy auction cars slap on some chinese knock off wheels then try to sell it as "Cherry" with some Asian models in the photos... its pretty funny
