oil filter

where does everyone get their oil filter from? now that school is over i have some free time on my hands. 5 quarts of mobil 1 have been sitting outside for a month now. oh yeah i got a 04 wrx.

from Schuman downtown. I use the STI filter.

Just curious, how much does the sti filter run? Can I use it in my 04 rex?

Price depends who sells it to you I paid $21.?? for three of them they normally are over $9.?? a piece.

i just bought one from car quest cause i didnt want to deal with the traffic to schuman on beratania. im gonna change it in 3 months again anyway.

The STi and WRX take the same filter now. All Turbo's take the same filter:

I got a case of the OEM ones from SubiGal once I go through them I'm going to use the Purolator Pure One filters. I've always had good luck with those.

How much does Jamie charge for a case of filters did you get them from Carter or from her directly. I might be going ot WA next month and could drive up their and get some if price is right..

i tried to do the change but the filter i got from car quest was way too huge. i think im gonna go with the OEM filter .Thanks HubyDoo for the help. Will there be a difference in HP if i go with a different filter? Those damn pins for the gravel gard are a pain in the ***.
