I don't think so its been ages since i've been up there (When I had a 4x4 pathfinder) but I can't really remember. I believe we had to get a pass? Something like that. There is also the rock query on the windward side, but you go at your own risk of the rozza's getting you.

Yea Kaapaa quarry had a few areas to offroad, but I know the mud bog has stones and trees in it, and the rozza's (cops, when I was in England they all had blue lights lol like here) and they can write tickets for being on the property.
You can go out to K point just need a pass, if you stay on the main road you should be fine. My outback has never had an issue but I got a lift and all terrains and skids.
