Damn, that's awkward for a shiftknob lol.

I am digging the headlights. CFL strip ftw.

where does the motor sit in terms of chassis layout? is it midship or is it way forward like the subaru awd chassis? low cog is great and all, but there's 3 axes of rotation to worry about and snap oversteer or plow understeer don't really rely on the cog much.

The GT5 video I posted shows of where the engine is. It looks like it sits forward like the Subaru's do.

Actually it looks a little more back. Note the hood's rear and the AC lines. Looks like it sits BEHIND the wheel axles.

2.0L probably because the Japanese are more fond of a higher revving motor. Aren't JDM STi's all 2.0L?

Personally, I like the design. Let's see what the Subaru version looks like. I like the GT5 video, especially where it's drifting with it's namesake. I'm glad they kept the hachi-roku name attributing to its heritage. Now let's look at pricing and release date.

I expect there will be an STI version in Japan next year at earliest. Think hoodscoop and the sti wing! Maybe they will name it the Subaru SVX.

If you look at the 2nd picture I posted of the concept, it really resemble the STI's.

YES! i like it. this may be my chance to knock out 2 of the car goals i had in mind.

1 - get back into a suby
2 - get a sporty 2dr with more fit and finish than this damn evo.

hope it has at least 250hp

I hope it weighs under 2900 lbs, then it would be just fine with "only" 250 hp.
Response is also important,so n/a makes sense.
This thing better rev to a minimum of 8000 rpm.
Oh,and by the way I think it looks great, way better than the 2010 Legacy!!!

What about this??http://www.autoblog.com/2008/06/04/s...ming-in-2010/3

Yes, they are (except I think the Forrester STi is a 2.5)
This and registration being pricier for a 2.4l and above maybe why they are keeping it as a 2.0

USDM STi's would have never gotten a 2.5 liter if it wasn;t for emission laws and the number of Cats killing the power of the EJ20.

I like that car....Nissan needs to get the S16 Silvia going and it needs to not look like ***....the S15 had an SR20DET w 250hp...only bad thing was the crappy 6 speed.
