yup just get the wii i just picked one up from blockbuster with the extra game and controller package for 300 bucks im an x box elite fan all the way mine has worked killer for a year so far but damn this wii thing is fun as hell love the bowling!!! oh yeah and the kids love it too!!

 

how is the playstation network?
do they update the games with new maps? how do they get rid of the online cheaters?

 

PC games own you all other than Halo 3 (for now, because it'll probably get ported).

 

the only bad part about pc games....is the constant upgrade in hardware to keep with joe blow....

at least with a console like xbox or ps3... the playing field is more leveled...everyone is with the same hardware. other than connection being the other factor... and with Live...cheaters get booted off the system.

 

I've never had a single problem with the ps3 network. It all depends on maps. I know on resistence fom, it costs like 7.99 for the newest map pack. As for cheaters, i think it works like the 360's network. It's just kind of a report some one type deal. Someone correct me if i'm wrong.

 

From what I remember, they extended the warranty for ALL consoles, so it shouldn't be 3 years from your date of purchase, it should be 3 years from when they implemented it.

I just waited to get the Elite and I haven't had a single problem with it =)

I just upgraded to an Elite, anyone have the migration kit so I can transfer my stuff over? If not Ill have to get the free one from Microsoft... I just dont want to wait for it to get here

Look on the bright side. You should have seen my 360... 2 red rings in less than one year and they didn't even reimburse the 2 months of Xbox Live Gold that I lost.
And to top it all off... when Microsoft shipped it back the 2nd time, my apartment security "lost" my package (they say they're not liable for lost packages under their care) so after all that wait, I had to buy a new 360.
