i just got the "RED RINGS OF DEATH!" on my xbox 360!!!! so i went to start a repair order online and guess what! I have no warranty!!!! i know it was extended for 3yrs from the purchase date buttttttttttt i got mines the day it came out 11/22/05! here is what it says on xbox.com https://service.xbox.com/repair.aspx...t&terms=accept
i'll call them tomorrow and hope they will still fix it!

i was gonna say that they have a 3 year warrantee from the factory, but it looks like you may be SOL my man. mine did that a month after i bought it, just in time for halo3 to come out. i was so pissed. still havent finished the game cause of it. good luck tho.

wow that sucks. the same thing happened to me, my warranty expired too. so i just saved up some cash and got the elite.
i am on my 3rd some real bs is my last one died rght before they annoucned they were going to extend the warranty so when i called they told me sorry we will fix it for 150 so i took it apart and fixed it myself.. then a week later i heard they were extending for 3 years i was like you bastards :angry:

yeh i realized that after i woke up.. i was so pissed and sleepy that i thought i was SOL but i was still good..... so i just requested my coffin

Good luck if they fix it for you. I bought my elite and in 2 months it broke. I had to send it in and they gave me a new replacement but I had to wait almost 2 months for it to be sent to me. So have fun waiting ^-^
