No one at all is interested in the SSR?

I don't think I'd ever be in the market for a retro, roadster, pickup truck, hot-rod, but I like what Chevy's doing. I'm surprised it hasn't gotten any airtime in the HIIC. I guess it's been in the open for a while.

There's proof that someone will buy it, though. The Pontiac Asstek. The all-time ugliest automobile.

It's kinda cool lookin', but they put a pedestrian pickup engine in it and it's a heavy, heavy pig. If they had given it more juice and made an effort to keep the weight down it could have been pretty nasty.

Poor execution of a cool idea on Chevy's part.

nope, not gonna happen...would be cool though...GM took a lot of crap when the GMC Typhoon and Syclone were released...they were apparently faster than the corvette of that time...the vette owners were pissed, that trucks were made faster than their sports cars...they also got some razzing from the automotive press...so GM vowed never to make a faster automobile than their corvette...

kinda makes a kewl bedtime story, huh???
