New showy wheels (dub?)
I just watched the end of a show called RIDES on TLC and they had some new showy wheels that will overshadow the spinners and the floaters (I learned those terms on the show.) Anyhow, this latest rim is called the PIMPSTER and is like one of those led/fiber optic clocks where the time was spelled out by all of the wands fanning very quickly.
There's some sort of the same thing. As the rim spins (normally, not like a spinner) somehow some carbon fiber in the spokes of the wheel spell out words and such. You can program it while you're driving to say whatever you want in traffic...all with your PDA.
Wow. Think of the ramifications.
I wish I had something to reference. Did anyone watch that show?

i jus saw that "Rides" show with chip foose on it.. and he was re-doing the 2 cadillacs for the sema show... then they showed those wheels at the end (not on the car)...
i didn't get a good look at the floaters... isn't that what they're gonna use for advertising (like taco bell on taxi cabs).. becuz the wheelcap can stay upright, right ?
ok.. i'm ramblin...
